Clubs from the province attended a meeting with Cádiz CF

All the regions of the province of Cádiz were represented at the event in the anteroom

The box of the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium hosted a new meeting on Tuesday afternoon, in this case with soccer clubs from the province of Cádiz. In this way, almost thirty entities from the entire province of Cádiz came to the Cádiz fiefdom to share points with the aim of making provincial football stronger.

The event, which was led by the club's vice president, Rafael Contreras, and the manager of the Cádiz CF Foundation and deputy to the presidency, José Mata, was attended by clubs such as Chiclana CF, Roteña UD, Atlético Sanluqueño, Deportivo Algeciras or the Veteranos Xerez CD, among others.

The person in charge of the Cádiz CF Foundation inaugurated the event showing his "desire" to "have a meeting with the representatives of the clubs of the province". "We are a club very attached to the province, half of our subscribers are from the province and we want to be close to the clubs in the province. We value the work you do from the base," he explained before the representatives of the different entities were taking the floor and suggesting proposals that were related to Cádiz CF.

In this sense, the yellow vice president recognized that the objective of Cádiz CF is that "at an early age, children play in all the teams in the province and that at that age they are enjoying football" but, in any case, "Cádiz CF is working at different levels, and within football there are many plans where they are working with the kids. Cádiz is making a lot of resources available and betting on football in the province of Cádiz".

For all this, Contreras explained that "parents are being given training, educational, social, collegiate... It is knowing how to respect the progression of children. The percentage of kids who become professional footballers is very low. From Cádiz we do a lot of emphasis is placed on monitoring the studies and the family so that it is not abandoned because being a professional footballer is a very difficult goal”.

In the same way, the yellow president acknowledged that "everyone would like Cádiz CF to be full of people from the youth academy and people from Cádiz", but "eight years ago Cádiz CF returned to professional football and The creation of an academy network that gives results is the result of many years and a lot of investment, and Cádiz CF is doing it, but it has a significant real delay compared to the teams with which we compete in the First Division, and when we say that Cádiz CF wants to grow, this is one of the areas we are talking about”.
