CHOCO LOZANO’S NON-EU PLAYER SPOT NOW AVAILABLE

The forward is now fully Spanish for all intents and purposes after completing the nationalisation process in November

The Spanish Football Federation has confirmed that Antony ‘Choco’ Lozano no longer occupies a non-EU player spot at Cádiz CF, having presented the documentation relating to his Spanish nationalisation.

The Cádiz striker obtained Spanish nationality in November, with the only outstanding procedure the registration at the Civil Registry under article 23 of the Spanish Civil Code. With this step now carried out, LaLiga was presented with all his documentation, which has now been approved by the Federation, meaning the player now lines up as a Spaniard for all intents and purposes.
