Honduran striker Choco Lozano spoke to Cádiz CF’s in-house media team in the wake of Sunday’s 0-0 draw with RC Celta Vigo. “Every point we win gives us that bit more breathing space,” he said. “We have to keep that points tally ticking over. Today we had to dig in right to the end. The most important thing is that this team works its socks off, and we’ve come away with a good point.”
Importance of keeping a clean sheet: “Our first priority is not to concede, and we managed that today. That’s really important for us. That gives us a platform on which to try and pick up the points.”
Getting game time under his belt after a spell out with injury: “I’m happy with the minutes I got today. It’s important to get yourself back into the side and feel good out on the pitch. We’ve picked up a vital point.”
