The Cádiz head coach spoke to the media after the fine and well-deserved win at Granada's Nuevo Los Cármenes stadium

Cádiz CF head coach Álvaro Cervera addressed the media after the league clash in Granada which saw his side secure a win which practically secures top flight status for the club.
Cervera stated: “we played well today, especially at the back. We still however need to improve with our transitions going forward and be more decisive with our counter attacks and that's something that we'll work on”.
The head coach continued: “I'm not sure what we need to do to mathematically secure safety. We're ten points clear of the drop zone with 12 points left to play for, so salvation is that bit closer", adding, "winning here is a huge relief”.
"There are very few times that this Cádiz side plays the way it wants to. We're not virtuosos with the ball but we do have other skill sets. I enjoyed how the game panned out and feel that we should have caused more problems. He added that "this is the method by which we'll be in the top flight for another season.
On Sobrino's match winner: “He's a player that offers so much and covers a considerable amount of ground and I'm really delighted for him and hope that this goal can assist him in his development and if that's as a Cádiz player, so much the better”.
Cervera ended the press conference with a few words aimed at Cádiz fans: “With every passing day, we're getting closer to being reunited with our supporters and that is something that we're all longing for. We're really looking forward to seeing a packed stadium full of yellow clad fans and we really don't want to miss out on any more things together”.
