Álvaro Cervera, coach of Cádiz CF, spoke to the media via teleconference at the end of the match in Ipurua, which ended with his team beating Eibar 0-2.
The gaffer explained the start. "We decided to head out as before, with the same eleven, as we felt this was how we could win the game.”
He then added that ”we will always get a chance [to score] if we do the things that we know how to do, and we had some luck with them not being able to get forward. When we go in front we are quite an uncomfortable team to play against.“
"We are professionals and we are here to win games," continued Cervera. "We were facing a team that’s pretty similar to ourselves, one that doesn’t make many mistakes and defends well.” He carried on, “we’re being almost too precise, we don’t create many chances, but we still score. And when we do, we are then able to defend.”
On the road Los Amarillos’ record is unrivalled, having won all their away games. Cervera, summed it up: “What we are experiencing right now is wonderful and tomorrow we’ll glance at it [the LaLiga table] more than once. At the end of the season we won't be there so now we just have to enjoy the moment.”
