The player Carlos Akapo will undergo an arthroscopy at Fremap on Wednesday. Ahead of the procedure – which has been delayed by COVID protocols requiring the defender to complete a PCR test on Tuesday – club doctor Sebastián Jiménez has issued the following medical report: “The tests carried out so far have revealed meniscus damage in Akapo’s right knee; further issues are also not being ruled out.”
