Cádiz Club de Fútbol have agreed to sign Rubén Sobrino on loan from Valencia Club de Fútbol for the rest of the season. The 28-year-old Spaniard has extensive experience of playing in LaLiga Santander, having spent the last five seasons in the Spanish top flight with Alavés and Valencia, making 88 appearances and scoring 12 goals. During his career, he has also turned out for Girona, Ponferradina and Real Madrid youth-academy sides, featuring for Castilla, Los Blancos’ ‘B’ team, in Segunda División.
The forward is due to join up with his new team-mates and begin work under Cádiz head coach Álvaro Cervera imminently.
