The matchday poster for Cádiz CF - Sevilla FC featured Rocío Jurado as part of the ‘Cádiz Artistry’ campaign celebrating the outstanding artists of our province.
This morning, in the trophy room at the Estadio Carranza, the managing director of the Cádiz CF Foundation, José Mata, presented the poster to representatives of Chipiona Town Council. Rocío Jurado, known as ‘La mas grande’ (‘The Greatest’), was born in the town, which lies just north of the city of Cádiz.
Luis Mario Aparcero, mayor of Chipiona, and Laura Román, Chipiona’s councillor for sports, were presented with the poster celebrating the match against the fellow Andalusian side. Both thanked Cádiz CF for the gesture in honour of Rocío Jurado, and wished the club the best of luck for the season.
