The new season eLaLiga Santander campaign was launched today with Cádiz CF eSports set to be one of the 38 participating clubs of the tournament. CCF have been involved since the inception of the eSports initiative some four years ago with Cádiz winning the inaugural competition. Things have evolved since then, with the eLaLiga now only featuring representatives from clubs who participate in the LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank.

Cádiz CF eSports unveiled their players for the season ahead with Vicente Soler continuing with the club after winning the draft last season. He'll be joined by Sandro Lapín who was one of the highest scoring players in the draft held last November. Both individuals will be looking to take Cádiz as far as possible in the newly redesigned competition format.

The official presentation event launching the new season was streamed live via YouTube and Twitch, where the likes of LaLiga president Javier Tebas along with Cádiz CF director of communications José Grima were amongst the key figures in the unveiling.

The Cádiz team will get their season underway on Tuesday where they face Celta Vigo, with the clash being the third game of the evening and set for a 18:00 CET start.
