The latest Cádiz CF match-poster as part of the series, ‘Cádiz de arte’ (‘Cádiz Artistry’) has been released. The club has been using its official matchday publicity to highlight and pay tribute to the region’s rich cultural tradition.
For matchday 14 of the 2020/21 LaLiga season, on which Cádiz CF plays Getafe CF, the poster will feature Juan Luis Galiardo. The San Roque-born Galiardo was both an actor and producer and starred in many successful Spanish television shows and films and was honoured with a number of awards during his distinguished career with a Goya award in 2000 and the Fotogramas de Plata award in 1996 being two such distinctions.
Cádiz CF is hugely proud of its region’s artistic heritage and is delighted to continue the promotion as part of an initiative which so far this season has also seen match posters including the likes of Lola Flores, a Jerez de la Frontera native (matchday one); Chipiona-born singer Rocío Jurado (matchday three); flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía (matchday five); poet Rafael Alberti (matchday seven), Manuel de Falla (matchday 10) and guitarist Manolo Sanlúcar on the last instalment for matchday 12.
