Cádiz Club de Fútbol and Real Madrid Club de Fútbol have reached an agreement over the transfer of Martín Calderón Gómez, who joins the Submarino Amarillo on a three-year contract. Born in Jerez de la Frontera on 1 March 1999, Calderón is a midfielder who has come through the youth set-up at Madrid. In 2018, he was added to the ranks of Real Madrid Castilla, the Spanish-capital club’s ‘B’ team, making 41 appearances for the side. Last season, he played out on loan at Portuguese outfit Paços de Ferreira.
Calderón is to join up with Cádiz’s pre-season preparations straight away, travelling to Marbella to take part in the first-team training camp currently underway.
