The lively, popular Supporters Club ‘Cadistas Fin@s’ have named Álex Fernández as the most valuable player last year in the Cádiz CF squad. The selection process is extremely participative, with the club members themselves voting. Notably the vote was extremely tight.
In the statement released by the supporters club they note that Álex has played a total of 137 games to date in the four seasons he’s played in the yellow shirt, being one of the key players in the team last season that won promotion.
Álex takes over from Garrido, who won the previous award.
