To commemorate Cádiz CF’s promotion to LaLiga Santander, Joyería Gordillo has delivered a set of unique and numbered watches to the club. Having received the order, this limited edition was designed exclusively for Cádiz CF by Joyería Gordillo and by the watchmakers at Cuervo y Sobrinos, a Swiss company of Cuban origin.
The watch will be presented to all of the players and technical staff at the club involved in the promotion campaign last season.
Among the characteristics of this sports timepiece are large numbers that allow for the face to be easily read and a strap in the retro Latino chic style, both elements associated with the aesthetic of Cuervo y Sobrinos.
The watch features a sophisticated 44mm steel case and a personalized dial with the team’s colours and the club crest at the six o’clock mark. It bears the inscription: “Promotion to Primera División.” The numbers and the hands are cast in a light blue that contrasts with the dark blue of the watch face and are plated with Superluminova pigment to guarantee night-time visibility.
Two straps accompany the watch, both in Cádiz CF colours. One is made of blue Alcántara leather with yellow stitching and the other of rubber, yellow on the exterior and blue on the wrist side.
The case houses automatic workings with a 42-hour power reserve. On the underside of the case is the Cádiz CF club crest, the name of the player or member of the technical staff and the number of the limited edition.
The watch comes with a brown leather travelling box and a wooden humidifying case, which has been personalized with the Cádiz CF club crest emblazoned on the cover.
