CCF Juvenil beat Atlético Sanluqueño 1-2 in a hard-fought match at the Doro Stadium in Sanlúcar.
The match swung in favour of Cádiz right after the start, with an early goal from Kensly. The slender, powerful academy player scored in the first move of the match, notching before a minute was up.
Sanchis players were clearly in an attacking frame of mind and soon had their second goal, from Toledano.
Cádiz were in control of the match and the home side’s attempts came to nothing. Indeed the gap between the sides on the scoreboard could have been greater come half-time.
The panorama, however, changed after the restart. Juan Fernández’s side got a goal back from a cross from the left which ended up in the goal to put the home side right back in the match.
With the entire second half still to play the outcome was anything but certain, and both sides had chances, including efforts that came off the woodwork, but the scoreboard remained unchanged.
