0-2 | Oyarzabal decided the match for Real Sociedad

Oyarzabal's brace decided the match for Real Sociedad

A close start to the match on both sides. The Yellows were waiting for the moment withstanding Real's attack. A Sobrino breakaway that ended with a shot from Álex Fernández into the hands of Remiro and a timid finish from Oyarzabal that ended up in the side netting were the first moves of the match.

Around the half hour mark, a good move by Fali with 'Pacha' Espino inside the box ended with Le Normand's shot hitting the crossbar. It was one of the most dangerous moves of the match. Real, for their part, took care to play the ball near to the box and look for the space to shoot at goal. Isak, on a rebound, had the closest shot from outside the area.

In the second half, with the score at 0-0, Salvi had a good chance when he took advantage of a rebound at the far post. After this approach, Real moved forward and went all out for the goal, using the quality of David Silva and Oyarzabal to their advantage. Cádiz CF, for their part, waited for their chance, repelling the approaches.

On the hour mark, Real's chances came one after the other, and in the 72nd minute, Oyarzabal scored when he sent a good cross from the middle of the pitch into the back of the net. After the Basque side's goal, the Yellows looked to react by pushing forward in search of a goal.

In the final minutes, a run by Sorloth led to a second yellow card for Juan Cala and a penalty for Alguacil's men. Oyarzabal, from the penalty spot, didn’t fail and made it 0-2 at the end of the game.
