0-0 | One point from a fighter Cádiz

Cádiz and Barça shared the points in a goalless draw.

As expected, each team played with their own style throughout the ninety minutes. With Barça's skills to move the ball around, the yellows focused on closing down space and counter-attacking to take advantage of mistakes. Few mistakes were made by Barça, so the yellows had to work hard throughout the game.

Apart from the odd counter-attack, Cádiz CF didn’t have many chances to threaten Ter Stegen's goal. In keeping with their style, something similar was happening to Barça, who were unable to find space in front of Álvaro Cervera's well-organised defence.

In the second half, the cadista team caused the first attempt with a good shot from Álvaro Negredo that Ter Stegen saved. Subsequently, and practically until Frenkie de Jong's sending off, Barça dominated the area and even had a clear chance through Memphis Depay.

In the final minutes, Cádiz CF had clear chances to score. Above all, with ten minutes to go, Salvi and Sobrino had two chances in a  crazy end of the game with chances for both teams. Memphis had a one-on-one with Ledesma that ended with a shot that was too wide, while the yellows had clear chances until the end. Fortune was not on the side of the team and the score finished 0-0.
