VIRGINIA, HAPPY WITH CÁDIZ EFFORT

The women’s team captain was pleased with what the team had given throughout the match.

The captain and left winger of Cádiz CF Femenino, Virginia Villegas, spoke to the club’s official media team after the match against Betis. "We are happy with the job done by the team, which is what we have worked on. It’s a shame to lose a goal in added time and we leave here annoyed,“ she explained.

A tough opponent. "We knew that Betis was a very good team. We've been preparing for the match all week, and we knew how to set up. The worst thing is how it happened, them scoring in added time. We knew that a result like this could happen, but to go down like that.”

A team together. "This is a team, we have all worked hard across the ninety minutes. There is no need to discuss whether or not it was a corner or whatever else. On Tuesday we are back at it again, to train, and continue as one together.”

Christmas. "We are looking ahead to the match against Híspalis, with games at Christmas coming thick and fast. We have no plans to stop. We will be on holiday on the key days, but we will keep working so that we’re at our best for the next match.”
