THE FOUNDATION SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH THE WOMEN IN CRISIS ASSOCIATION

The Association is the only non-profit organisation that works with victims of domestic violence in Cádiz

The CCF Foundation and the Women in Crisis Association (Asociación de Mujeres Desamparadas) signed their collaboration agreement at the offices of the Ramón Carranza stadium, which followed an initial meeting earlier in the month.

José Mata, manager of the foundation, and project manager, Antonio Caro, welcomed Rosa María Núñez, the association’s president, and Tamara Suárez, a technician, to put pen to paper on the agreement.

It is worth highlighting the huge role played by the Women in Crisis Association, as the only non-profit organisation that works with victims of domestic violence in Cádiz. The objective of the group is to help and advise victims of gender-based violence and women at risk of social exclusion, more specifically by providing legal assistance and counselling as well as psychological advice. It also helps with the processing of documentation and with covering basic needs.

In addition to the signing, the opportunity was taken to pose with the CCF Foundation’s newly printed poster that promotes the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which takes place on 25 November.

Finally, the CCF Foundation took the opportunity to remind people of the importance of calling 016 (if in Spain) if you or anyone you know is suffering from abuse. This is a freephone number and will not show up on your bill.
