Alberto Perea faced the media in the press room after the match against Alavés. "We're going home very disappointed. We had control of the game, we attacked a lot by different ways and the ball didn't want to go into the goal. There are no regrets, tomorrow we train again" he said.
The team tried until the end. "We pressed in both halves. With the 0-1, we went all out in the second half, we did a lot of damage from my flank. We had a lot of chances, but the ball didn't go in".
There is still a long way to go. "The first few minutes of the second half we were coming in from my flank. I'm happy with the match I've done, but I'm very annoyed with the result, as are my team-mates. We've got seven points, there's a world left and we're going to win Villarreal this Tuesday".
