Striker Álvaro Negredo spoke to the media in the press room after the match against Espanyol. "We have to keep working. The second half was good. You come from a negative dynamic, there's a change of coach, a change of approach to football because each coach has his own way of working and the change won't happen overnight. We have to work on aspects so that, added to what we already know, we can all get out of this situation, which is what we all want".

Chances. "It's been a long time since we've had so many chances to score. That's good for the team, for the attacking players. The first one that was disallowed hit me in the hand, the rule is clear, and the second one I have doubts. You leave with a bad feeling because of the last play of the game, how they managed to equalise. It would have been important to take the three points today".

The fans. "We're going to suffer, that's something we know, but we're going to suffer for the objective. We're going to fight until the end. We've tried to repay the fans for all the support they've given us throughout the game, even in the first half when we weren't playing well".
