This afternoon, central defender Luis Hernández and striker Lucas Pérez were presented as new Cádiz CF players. Enrique Ortiz and Jorge Cordero were in charge of presenting the two players to the media.

Luis Hernández was the first to speak: "It's true that the situation is not what we would all like, but we are here to contribute. Hopefully we can start to make it three out of three from now on".

The centre-back emphasised the responsibility of "coming to a historic club like Cádiz and representing this team".

He also placed special emphasis on the importance of the dressing room in order to move forward: "The team received us very well. The dressing room is one of the pillars to achieve the objective. From this unity and with each one of us doing our bit, we're sure we'll get there".

Afterwards, Lucas Pérez responded to questions from the media, explaining the keys to achieving permanence: "Positivity, enthusiasm and hard work is the path we must follow".

In reference to his teammates, Lucas pointed out that "there are great strikers, such as Choco, Andone and Negredo. Our job is to make it difficult for the coach and go out and compete in the final fifteen in the best possible way".

On the other hand, the striker was positive, commenting that "at Javi Calleja's Alavés we were in a worse situation and we managed to get out of it", while at the same time expressing the importance of home games: "Getting victories in our stadium is important. Everything can be seen in a different way if we get a win on Saturday and look towards the top, which is what we all want".
