CÁDIZ CF, SUPPORTING SOCIAL DIVERSITY

Club president Manuel Vizcaíno took part in the Asociación Roja Directa LGTBI award ceremony held in Los Barrios

Cádiz CF were present at the second Asociación Roja Directa (local LGBTI+ association) social diversity award ceremony, held in the town of Los Barrios in the eastern Campo de Gibraltar area of the province. 

Club president Manuel Vizcaíno was enlisted to hand over an award to Hogar Betania (a local LGTBI+ housing association). The event was staged at the Hotel Montera and guests hailed from local public and social institutions, with all health and safety protocols being strictly adhered to. 

Cádiz CF were thanked by Asociacion Roja Directa during the ceremony with the club lauded for their work on inclusivity and social diversity. The club president was presented with a football shirt and a ball bearing the colours of the collective as a gift.

During the course of the evening, 17 awards were handed out with winners including: Celia López, Almudena Pérez, Charo Alises, Los Barrios local government, Mar Cambrolle, Fundación 26 de diciembre, Hogar Betania, Canal Sur TV, Roma LGTBI Association, Algeciras Women's Futsal team, Victoria Kent, Andalusian Youth Institute, Sara Varela, Crezco Familias Andalucía LGTB, The Campo de Gibraltar Citizens Anti-AIDS Committee, the Political Science, Conciliation and Equality department of the Andalusian government and production company Remedios y Producciones Singulares.
