CÁDIZ CF RESTARTS SUPPORTERS' CLUBS MEETINGS

The football club is holding regular virtual meetings with a number of fan groups to listen to their thoughts and concerns

Cádiz CF has resumed direct and frequent contact with its supporters' clubs thanks to the Cádiz Supporters' Clubs Federation. The ongoing pandemic means physical meetings are not recommended, however the club has organised online meetings which are working extremely well.

Vice President of the club and manager of the Foundation José Mata has conducted two virtual meetings with different Cádiz supporters' groups with the rules for the meetings being agreed beforehand. The conversations have been fluid and forthright with the club answering many of the queries and doubts currently held by fans.

Cádiz CF are concerned about the current situation and its impact on the fans and want them to know, by way of this type of initiative, that the club is concerned about what is happening. The meetings have discussed at length various current issues, including the activities of the supporters’ clubs, pending projects that are on hold as a consequence of the pandemic, and of course time has been made to reflect on the excellent run by the first team in the top flight which is a key talking point for all participants.

Fan-groups that have participated in the two meetings to date that form part of the Cádiz Supporters' Clubs Federation have been: Peña Anticueva, Peña Pulpo Amarillo, Peña 4 Gatos and Exilio Cadista, while the directors of the Supporters’ Clubs Federation were present in the first forum.
