Cádiz CF manager Gaizka Garitano addressed the media in the press room at El Plantío following his team’s draw against Burgos in Matchday 36 of LALIGA Hypermotion.
Match assessment:
“It’s an important point for us on a difficult pitch. The team played well, and both sides had their moments. It was a hard-fought game, and I think the draw is fair based on what we saw. There was a moment in the second half when, after the equaliser, we pushed to win, but so did they. From any play or set piece, they could have scored. I’m happy with the team’s effort in a tough stadium. We showed personality to bounce back after their second goal.”
Pitch conditions:
“The same puddle that denied us a goal after a brilliant play ended up giving us one. The team deserved it. Lately, tight games were slipping away from us, but today the team played well and at the very least earned a draw.”
