0-2 | More than a victory, more than three points

Negredo and Salvi score two goals that become three golden points.

The Levante side dominated the first few minutes and had chances to score with shots from Roger, Roberto Soldado and Bardhi. Roger had the clearest chance in the opening stages with a header in the heart of the box that Conan Ledesma caught. The Yellows held on, waiting for the chance to counter-attack.

After the first twenty minutes, in which the Granotas had their chances, Sergio González's men moved forward and had more presence in the box. After the half hour mark, Fede San Emeterio put in a great pass into space for Choco Lozano to run onto. The Honduran's cross to the far post allowed Negredo to rise in the box and head the ball into the back of the net.

Roger responded with a shot that was cleared off the line by Conan and Chust, with the Cadistas holding on to the result until the end of the first half. The second half began with an incisive Bardhi who had the occasional chance, but Conan and the Cadista defence cleared any danger.

On the hour mark, Levante moved forward to put Cadiz in their pitch, dropping balls for several minutes and the yellow team showed defensive solidity, repelling between the goalkeeper and the great performance of Conan Ledesma. The second goal was to come when Fede and Alejo went up the flank with just over 70 minutes on the clock.

Alejo's pass to the near post would lead to the second goal when Salvi arrived like a bullet and beat Aitor. The score was 0-2 and Cadiz took the air in the pitch, with Levante taking a step forward but constantly coming up against the defensive solidity of the team coached by Sergio Gonzalez.

The Gran Canarian side had chances, but the Cadistas were at their best defensively, and even had the occasional chance on the counter-attack. Under this solidity, the score would not move again and the video scoreboard showed 0-2 in favour of Cadiz. Three golden points.
