Cádiz earned a new point in the standings after their visit to Anduva, where they tied the match on two occasions. Midfielder Jon Gorrotxategi twice put CD Mirandés ahead, but Javier Ontiveros restored parity both in the first half and in the second and the yellow team equalized in Miranda de Ebro.
The match began to go uphill from the start. In fact, after only four minutes of play, the home team was already in the lead thanks to a goal by Jon Gorrotxategi, who, with a shot from the edge of the area, took advantage of a rejection by the yellow defense to put Alessio Lisci's team ahead.
With the scoreboard at a disadvantage, Paco López's men pressed the accelerator and, just three minutes later, Javier Ontiveros brought out the quality of his right foot to dive and shoot from the edge of the area, achieving a great goal that served to restore the draw. However, Carlos Muñiz was warned by the VAR of a possible offside situation by José Joaquín Matos in the moments before the goal and, after the review, the Aragonese referee disallowed the goal.
Anduva celebrated the situation and, shortly before the first quarter-hour mark, Alberto Reina shot from outside the area and the ball, after bouncing off Rubén Alcaraz, hit the crossbar of David Gil's goal. The rebound was picked up by Joel Roca to try his luck with a right-footed volley, but his shot went wide.
Despite the adversity, the yellow team did not give up and continued attacking in search of a goal that finally arrived shortly before the 45th minute of the match. Javier Ontiveros picked up a precise ball into space from José Joaquín Matos to dribble past the goalkeeper and, from an empty goal and with little angle, scored the 1-1.
After the restart, the yellow team came out more determined than at the start of the match. As a result, they managed to connect a series of attacks that served to settle in the opponent's field. However, on the hour mark, Gorrotxategi again took advantage of a defensive error. The local midfielder received in the area and, with a volley, put his team ahead again.
And, as happened in the first half, the yellow team responded very soon. Again, with a goal by Ontiveros. The player from Marbella received a filtered pass from Brian Ocampo and, with exquisite quality, leveled again the contest to give life to a Cadiz who wanted to win the match in Anduva.
However, the scoreboard would not move and the match at the home of CD Mirandés ended with a draw on the scoreboard after the fight shown by the Cadista team.
